We just got back from 2 more great spring breaks to the island, one in February when John was off from Law School and one in March when Tessa was on her School's Spring Vacation. The first week was cold but we were lucky to get typically great weather for the second 'wrap-up' week.
We got a chance to relax by the pool, walk on the beach and boat in the bay. We couldn't tolerate the 'Spring Breakers' this year, and the tranquility of the Regency Condominium was very peaceful as we avoided the crazy world around us. We build our sandcastles and romped in the surf, but we also got out on our boat in the bay for cruising and exploring.
As always, we enjoying the sunsets, margaritas and the tasty shrimp. John & Elizabeth drove down this year in order to visit family and bring Finnley and Scrappy to the beach. We didn't get any photos while they were there but, as always, Tessa and Jordy were extremely photogenetic when they arrived.
We bid a found farewell to the Regency Condos, as we decided to sell both the units there and use the time and funds to expand our travels elsewhere. Regency sold even before we left, and the Beach House was sold just after we returned home. After 20 years of ownership on the Island, we plan to be tenants from now on. Downsizing has become a priority to us after the remodelling of our house in St. Paul and the completion of our cabin in Wisconsin. See those project web pages also on this site.
