The 2nd and 3rd Generations Return to the Homesteads!

The facts: Ten descendents of the Dahlgren and the Larson immigrants of 1883 and 1893 returned to their Swedish homesteads in August 1999, met dozens of relatives and saw fabulous scenery during 15 days of excellent weather.

The travelers: Thelma Hagen, DeEtta and Ralph Pettyjohn, John Dahlgren, Isabel Brandt, Dave Hagen, Pat Hughes, Anne Campbell, Karen Brand and Nancy Brandt.

The relatives: Many relatives hosted us during this 'once in a lifetime' trip, and those names will be posted on the Homestead pages. The principal hosts, however, were Jan Olsson (main guide and interpreter), Karin Olsson, Erik Staaf, and Britta Staff Forsberg.

The trip will be featured here, principally with photos taken by Karen Brand, Pat Hughes and Nancy Brandt:
